TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES

The five-week flex training, designed by the National Court Appointed Special Advocates Association (CASA), aims to prepare trainees for their roles as CASA volunteers.

Supervised by Volunteer Coordinators, each week covers a comprehensive curriculum that introduces students to key elements and dynamics such as mental health and substance abuse, which they may encounter in their volunteer work.

Trainees are required to complete 10 hours of court observation. Additionally, they will learn how to use the Court Process Reporting Software (CPRS) to document each case and express concerns and questions about the course.

To get started, please contact us at 912-876-3816 or email us at atlanticareacasa@gmail.com. Please note that completion of an interview and a background check are mandatory before participating in the Flex Training session.

We ask that all interested individuals submit their application at least two weeks before Flex Training begins.
