DWTS Star: Michelle Ricketson

Michelle Ricketson hails from the Midwest. Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and Jeffersonville, Indiana to be exact, but each move since college has been a little farther south. 

She earned a Bachelor's degree from Saint-Mary-of-the-Woods College in St. Mary, Indiana, and spent half of her career in print media/marketing/sales and half of her career in local government. 

In 2009, she married her husband,  Jeff Ricketson. 

Ricketson became the Executive Director of the Hinesville Downtown Development Authority in 2014. She and her staff oversee the recruitment of downtown businesses, coordinate the Hinesville Farmers & Makers Market, manage Bryant Commons Park, and assist with large community events. She has also worked with veteran groups for the past three decades. 

Michelle finds a great deal of positive energy in doing community service. She volunteers with the Rotary, Veterans Memorial Walk, Morning Glory Garden Club, Keep Liberty Beautiful, and St. Philip’s Episcopal Church.
